Kiwanis to hold Hambletonian 5K race

Chester — During the Memorial Day weekend, the 12th annual Hambletonian 5K race will be held by the Chester Kiwanis Club. The race time is 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, and the registration and starting location will be in the community park behind the old high school in the village of Chester. The cost for students is $10, and $18 for adults. The proceeds will help sponsor high school scholarships, the Chester Volunteer Ambulance Corp, and Inspire of Goshen. A post-race breakfast will be available for all runners.
