WARWICK — On Thursday night, June 8, the Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (WFEL) ran its Fourth Annual Kick Ball Tournament to benefit the students and teachers of the Warwick Valley School District. The event raised more than $2,700 for the foundation's Mini Grant Program.Eleven teams and approximately 130 players came out to play in the single-elimination tournament which culminated in a final round between New Kicks on the Block and the Fire Balls. “On behalf of WFEL, we congratulate the winners of this years tournament - the New Kicks on the Block," said Vanessa Holland, the foundation's chair.
