Isabella Astorino selected as Warwick Valley High School's Student-Athlete of the Week

Warwick. The senior is a standout in soccer, basketball and lacrosse.

Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Isabella Astorino as this week's Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.

The senior multi-sport standout is a three-year varsity basketball standout and team captain; three-year soccer standout; and four-year varsity lacrosse player.

Isabella and the Lady Wildcat Girls Basketball team are off to a 4–0 start with victories over Middletown, Burke, Minisink and Port Jervis.

Isabella has contributed more than 40 points and 40 rebounds in the first four contests.

Isabella is an outstanding student maintaining, a 98.6 weighted grade point average. Her classes include Advanced Placement Courses for College Credit in Government, Biology, Literature, University Spanish, OCCC Algebra and Trigonometry.

Isabella is an active member of the National Honor Society, Physics Club and Sports Medicine Club. She also takes part in the St. Stephen's Midnight Run.

She will be attending Hartwick College in upstate Oneonta in the fall to study nursing and to play basketball and lacrosse for the Hartwick Hawks who compete in the Empire 8.

Isabella is the daughter of Eileen and Ben Astorino of Warwick. She follows in the strides of her her sisters Gabriella, Victoria and Olivia and brother Joe as an outstanding student–athlete in the Warwick Valley.
