Howard 'HoJo' Johnson to visit Frozen Ropes

CHESTER — Former MLB All-Star and two-time World Series winner Howard “HoJo” Johnson will be visiting the Frozen Ropes National Training Center in Chester.
Johnson, who was also a hitting coach for the New York Mets and the Seattle Mariners hitting coach, will be training baseball and softball players during an advanced hitting camp on Sunday, Nov. 17.
All hitting drills and stations in the interactive session will be overseen by Johnson and Tony Abbatine, the national director of instruction at Frozen Ropes and consultant to several MLB teams and college programs.
Players who register in advance for the camp will receive an autographed baseball and photo with Johnson.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Frozen Ropes National Training Center at The Rock Sports Park at 24 Old Black Meadow Road in Chester.
