Hockey player Chris DeThomas scores as M-W's ‘athlete of the week' for Jan. 5

Central Valley - The Monroe-Woodbury Athletic Director Ron Montalto has announce that senior Chris DeThomas, the center for the school’s ice hockey team, is the “athlete of the week” for Jan. 5. “Chris is the leading scorer on the team and in our most recent tournament victory (Mamaroneck Tiger Tournament), Chris was named most valuable offensive player,” said Ice Hockey Coached Paul Bacsardi. “Chris is the center on the first line and is an important player on the power play and penalty kill.”
