Gymnastics accolades

Allison Torres, a sixth-grader from Monroe, Molly Connollym a fourth-grader from Monroe, and Abigail Thorson, a seventh-grader from Warwick, competed at the recent Region 6 AA XCEL Gold Championships in Shrewsbury, Mass. Torres placed first in the All-Around and named Regional Champion on floor. Connolly placed fourth in the Al-Around and was the Regional Champion on beam. Thorson placed fifth on floor. The girls gather with Coach John Smales after their victories.
