Brandon Murphy, the goalkeeper for the GWL Rockets ‘06, has allowed only two goals over the course of three years, recording shutouts in 14 of 16 games.
GREENWOOD LAKE — The GWL Rockets ‘06 won the New Year Kickoff Indoor Tournament on Jan. 6 at the Greenwood Lake Middle School.
This is the third time in three years the Rockets '06 have won the title. All the players except one have been with the team for all three years.
The GWL Rockets ‘06 are one of the few remaining mixed player teams at this age level. The two girls (Emily Bujosa and Sienna Thurber) are the team's starting left and right defensive backs, and they are forces to be reckoned with.
The team is coached by Sean Mulcahy and Lisa Mulcahy.
