Goshen Christian wins championships

Goshen Christian Middle School boys and girls teams won the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League championships by completing unbeaten seasons in league play. This is the first time both teams have won in the same year. The boys team went on to win the tournament, the first time since 1996, while the girls came in second. Goshen Christian’s Daniel Menendez earned Most Valuable Player honors during the tournament. Other schools in the league include Faith Christian Academy, Upton Lake Christian School, Good Shepherd Christian School, Northern Dutchess Christian School, Harmony Christian School, and Wawarsing Christian Academy.
