MIDDLETOWN — Orange County Community College and SUNY Orange will hold its annual golf outing on Thursday, June 29, at the Town of Wallkill Golf Course at 40 Sands Road in Middletown. The outing will be chaired by Bill Pendergast, a principle in the firm of Pendergast and Terach Associates of Central Valley. The title sponsor for the outing is Frontier Communications. All proceeds will go to the SUNY Orange Scholarship Fund. Last year, more than $40,000 was raised, which, along with other fund-raising activities, allowed SUNY Orange to award more than 150 scholarships to students during the 2005-06 academic year. Sponsorships are still available. Levels of support run from $3,000 to $750 for those who golf, or from $300 and $175 for those who do not golf but would like to support the scholarship fund.
