Golf outing and chicken BBQ to benefit Geoff Williams

WARWICK-Friends of Geoff Williams will hold a golf outing and chicken barbecue as a fundraiser for the Geoff Williams Benefit Fund on Saturday, Oct. 29. The golf outing at the Hickory Hill Golf Course at 156 Route 17A in Warwick will start with a continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. A best ball shotgun start will happen at 10 a.m. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be supplied, and prizes will be awarded. The chicken barbecue will be held at the PLAV Pavilion on Pulaski Highway in Pine Island, starting at noon. Music will be provided by disc jockey Ken Miller, and beer, wine and soda will be supplied. Tickets are $80 for both events, or $12 for the chicken barbecue alone. They will be available until Monday, Oct. 24.
