    Chester 21 vs. Florida 6, May 2 The Chester girls were led to another victory with Stacey Skudera in the circle and Amanda Johnson behind the plate. The duo combined for 6 hits. including a triple by Stacey, and 8 RBI’s in helping to lead their team to victory. Aggressive running was demonstrated by Sammy Clarke, who led the team in stolen bases with a total of 4, followed by Brendina Kyles with 3, Codie Laden and Denise Cardinale 2 and Jessica Lecesse and Kassandra Leight contributing 1 apiece. Danielle Gomez capitalized on her 5 walks by scoring 3 runs, Lisa DiBona and Amy Systma scored 2 runs each. Sami Green and Dana Martin had 3 RBI’s each and executed smart defense in the field. This win can be credited to total team effort combining 16 hits with smart base running. Chester 16 vs. Tuxedo 3, May 10 Another victory fop pitcher Dana Martin as she contributed to her team’s effort in defeating Tuxedo. She faced 30 batters, while striking out 19. Sreein, DiBona, and Clarke, and Martin were successful in the baiter’s box with 2 hits each. Mulvey, Rosenberg, Cardinale, Skudera and Lecesse showed great hustle by stealing 3 bases each. Leading the team with 2 RBI’s each was Cook, Clarke. and Lecesse. The team is looking forward to its first away game at Greenwood Lake.
