Francis-King Nnamani captures ‘Student-Athlete of the Week’ honors

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School has named Francis–King Nnamani as this week’s “Student–Athlete of the Week” through the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.
The senior football star is a four-year varsity player for the 2013 Division Champion Warwick Wildcats.
As a defensive end Francis was one of the league’s top pass rushers and at 6’2” and 225 pounds, he is one of the Wildcats most sought-after senior college prospects.
Francis–King is a three-time winner of the National Underclassman Combine (NUC) held at Newburgh and Middletown over the past three seasons. He also has played varsity lacrosse and track and field for the Wildcats.
Francis–King is a good student whose overall GPA is 83.7. He is interested in continuing his education in the field of business administration or computer science.
He’d also like to get out of the snow and is hoping to go to college somewhere in the south.
Francis–King has participated in the Year Book Club and the Wounded Warrior Project fund raiser.
He has been recognized as a NYSPHSAA Scholar–Athlete in the fall of 2013.
Francis–King is the son of John and Patricia Nnamani of Warwick. He has three sisters (Sally WVHS 05’, Stephanie WVHS 07’ and Jennifer WVHS 03’). His brother Sam graduated in 2004.
