Erin Flannery named Warwick Valley High School's Student Athlete of the Week
WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Erin Flannery as this week's the Bill Garcia Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.
The senior multi-sport standout is a four-year varsity swimmer and team captain as well as a four-year varsity lacrosse player.
Erin qualified for the Section IX Swim Championships in five events. She plays center midfield for the girls lacrosse team that is looking to defend its Section IX title in Class B.
Erin is the 2019 Class Valedictorian, ranked #1 in a class of 328 with a weighted grade point average of 104.6. Her classes include Advanced Placement Courses for College Credit in Government, Literature, University Spanish, Honors French and Science Research.
Erin is an active member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Student Senate Vice President and Environmental Club member.
In her limited free time she has taken on the role as Golden Project Award Coordinator.
She will be attending Colgate University in the fall and plans to study International Relations.
Erin is the daughter of Dan and Tammy Flannery of Warwick.
