D'Aliso family picnic tickets are on sale

    MONROE-The Patrick M. D'Aliso Foundation will host its first annual family picnic and fund raiser Saturday, June 4, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery. The foundation seeks to honor young men who have successfully competed on the athletic field, in the classroom and in society with the highest level of deportment. Two scholarships will be available each year to graduating senior wrestlers, one from Monroe-Woodbury and the other from a school in Section nine. The Patrick M. D'Aliso Foundation will also provide financial support to accredited suicide awareness and prevention programs, focused on assisting teenagers. Festivities include a barbecue, games and a live DJ. Valuable sports memorabilia from Yankees, Giants, Jets and Nets will be up for raffle, courtesy of Westchester Broadway Theater and local restaurants. WHUD's Mike Bennett will serve at the master of ceremonies. Tickets will be sold in advance only for $20, with children under the age of five admitted free.
