The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders came from behind last Friday night to defeat Newburgh Free Academy and retain it’s number-one ranking in New York State. The deciding play was David Landesberg’s 40-yard touchdown run with 4:16 left, giving Monroe-Woodbury a 21-17 victory after it trailed NFA 17-0 at halftime. The Crusaders, who have won 18 games in a row dating back to last season’s championship run, face Kingston tonight at home.
