Cheerleading team wins first place

Florida —The Chaos Allstar Cheerleading youth team went to its first competition at Misercordia College, in Dallas, Pa., on Nov. 12, and took first place in its division. The team members are girls from all over Orange County who practice at Sports Fitness and Fun in Florida. The youth team age range is from eight to 12 years. The team members are Shaina Poppo, Tierney Egan, Olivia Jackson, Olivia Capone-Phillips, Ashley Turner, Danielle Arico, Amber Sommella, Anna Karmiol, Caitlyn Quackenbush, Gabrielle Fuller, Sarah Jackson, and Gianna Rotondo. Five girls from the youth team also competed together in the stunt group competition and placed first. The stunt group members are Gianna Rotondo, Shaina Poppo, Gabrielle Fuller, Tierney Egan and Olivia Jackson. In the individual competition, two of the girls placed in the top five: Madison Teran placed 4th (from the mini team) and Gianna Rotondo (from the youth team) placed third.
