Charlotte Caskey is this week's student-athlete

WARWICK — Charlotte Caskey is this week’s Warwick Valley High School “ Student–Athlete of the Week” through the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.
The senior tennis standout is a four-year varsity player and finished 13-1 in the first doubles position with partner Samantha Easton.
The varsity team finished 14 0 and won the Division II Title. Charlotte and Samantha placed fourth in the county and qualified for the Section 9 Tournament.
A member of the National Honor Society, Charlotte ranks in the top 20 percent of her class with a grade point average of 93.06. Her senior academic schedule includes Advanced Placement (AP) English, AP Psychology and Orange Community College calculus for college credit.
Charlotte served as class president in 9th–11th grade, is a four-year student senator and serves as its treasurer. She is president of the Cat’s Meow and is involved in the Drama Club.
Charlotte recently went on a mission to the Dominican Republic with her church and sang with the Jubilate (junior choir) at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
It is no surprise that many schools have interest in her attending their university. Charlotte plans to study psychology and minor in business or criminal justice. She is considering Lehigh University, Fordham and Scranton.
Charlotte is the daughter of Paul and Priscilla Caskey of Warwick. Her sister Grace was a standout tennis player and student – athlete and is currently a junior at Sweet Briar College in Virginia.
