Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County will host its eighth annual golf outing at West Hills Country Club in Middletown on Monday, July 21. The event is one of the not-for-profit human service agency’s primary fundraisers for the year. Board member Tom Larsen, Group Vice President of Legal and Public Affairs at Mediacom Communications Corp., is chairing the golf event committee again this year.

“If you love golf, there is no better event than the annual Catholic Charities’ golf outing at West Hills Country Club,” said Larsen. “It is a challenging course with amazing facilities, great food, and lots of prizes. All the money raised goes directly to support an organization that is working every day to improve the lives of the less fortunate in our community,” he added.

The day’s events kick-off with golfer check-in and continental breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m., shotgun start for a scramble format at 10 a.m., lunch on the course for all participants, and a buffet dinner and awards program in late afternoon. Golfers will have the opportunity to try for a 2014 Ford Escape at the Hole-in-One contest sponsored by Healey Brothers. Other contests include closest-to-the-pin and longest drive.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities – including tee signs for only $100 – remain available, as well as room for foursomes and individual golfers. The price for foursomes is $740, or $200 for individual golfers. Anyone interested in attending the award dinner is invited to do so for $75 per person.
