Bocce at Warwick Valley Winery set for July 30

Warwick - The Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery will hold its first annual bocce tournament on Sunday, July 30. Last year the winery built two regulation-size bocce courts; since then, winery guests have enjoyed playing the sport while sipping wine, eating a delectable lunch and listening to live music. The event is organized by the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery Bocce League and marks their first organized competitive bocce tournament. Registration is open to anyone 12 or older. The registration fee is $10 per player and $20 per team. Each team must consist of two players and is required to register each player prior to competing. The registration deadline is Friday, July 28, by 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
