Bear Mountain Outdoor Rink opens Saturday

BEAR MOUNTAIN — The outdoor skating rink at Bear Mountain Palisades Interstate Park opens Saturday, Nov. 2, with skating available through March 2.

The rink is outdoors and uncovered so dress appropriately; lockers and refreshments are available.

Schedule
Here’s the schedule of public skating sessions (weather permitting):

Monday and Tuesday
10 to 11:30 a.m.

Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Friday
8 to 9:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday
10 to 11:30 a.m.

Noon to 1:30 p.m.
2 to 3:30 p.m.

4 to 5:30 p.m.
6 to 7:30 p.m.
8 to 9:30 p.m. (Only on Saturdays)

Fees
The fees are:
Adults (12 and up): $5

Children aged 4 to 11: $4
Non-skaters and seniors: $2

Children aged 3 or under: free
Skate rental (per pair): $4

Skate sharpening (per pair): $5
