Basketball tournament raises $600 for American Cancer Society

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Varsity basketball team defeated Cornwall High School in the consolation game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament by a score of 73–48.
The Wildcats put together a solid effort from start to finish led by Dermott Egan 17 points and four other players in double figures (Phil Goska, Brad Garcia, Nigel Bey and Connor Leigh).
Wildcats raised more than $600 for the American Cancer Society.
Nyack High School won the tournament, defeating Wallkill 76–72 to capture the 2013 title.
