Basketball captain Shannon McNally selected as Warwick Valley High School's Student Athlte of the Week

    — Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior Shannon McNally as this week's Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Student Athlete of the Week.
    Shannon is a three-year varsity player and captain of the Division Champion Girls Basketball Team. She also returns as one of the top softball players in the county.
    She has been recognized as a Time Herald-Record All Star as junior guard and a four-year Scholar–Athlete.
    Shes has also played soccer for the Wildcats.
    Shannon is an outstanding student with a GPA of 98 during basketball season. She has taken a challenging course load including OCCC Algebra and Trigonometry, AP Government and AP Literature.
    She volunteers with Cats for a Cure and the Big Sisters’ Club.
    Shannon is undecided on her major but has been accepted to Penn State, George Mason University, James Madison and the University of Rochester.
    She is the daughter of Dan and Bridget McNally of Warwick. Her sister Ashley and brother Dan are both Warwick Valley High School alumni.
