Basketball and performing arts offered this summer

Girls Basketball Camp The Goshen Joint Recreation Commission is running a one-week girls’ basketball camp from July 24 to July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Goshen High School. All girls entering grades 4 to 9 in September may register. The fee is $100 for residents, $140 for non-residents. Performing Arts Camp The commission is also running a two-week performing arts camp from Aug. 7 to 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. All children entering grades 2 through 8 in September may register. A performance of “Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs” will be performed on Aug. 19. The fee for the camp is $180 for residents of Goshen, $260 for non-residents. Registration forms for both programs are available at the town and village hall buildings and are also located on the website at www.townofgoshen.org in the Recreation section.
