Baseball player Alex Crespo named M-W athlete of the week

Central Valley - Alex Crespo, captain of the Boys Varsity Baseball Team, has been named the Monroe-Woodbury High School athlete of the week. Crespo, a senior, hit a three-run home run in the team’s season opening 4-2 victory against Minisink. He is an honor student and scholar athlete who plans on attending Lafayette College in the fall. The Athletic Department of Monroe-Woodbury High School recognizes a student or students each week who maintain a high degree of success in all areas pertaining to academics while also demonstrating good citizenship and outstanding game sportsmanship.
