Anthony Mann is this week’s 'Student-Athlete’

— Senior Anthony Mann is this week’s Warwick Valley High School’s “Student–Athlete of the Week” under the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.

Anthony is a two-year starter and a third-year varsity player for Tom Folino’s defending division champion team. He scored 14 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 steal in the Wildcats’ 62–54 season-opening win against Pine Bush.

The student athlete was also a significant contributor for the boys varsity soccer team, scoring 3 goals and 5 assists as an outside midfielder for the Division Champions.

Anthony is a solid student with an overall 85 average. He is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and has applied to a number of SUNY Colleges where he plans to study education.

As captain of the varsity basketball team, Anthony shows outstanding leadership and dedication to team goals. He has been recognized by the NYSPHSAA as a scholar–athlete for basketball.

Anthony is the son of Teresa and Anthony Mann of Warwick. His sister Taylor is a sophomore standout for the varsity girls’ basketball team
