An end to a great season

The 7th Grade CYO team from St. Patrick’s of Highland Mills finished runner-up to Annunciation in the New York State Archdiocesan Basketball Tournament. The loss in the championship game culminated a great season that saw them go 38-2. During that time they won four tournaments around the tri-state area as well as finishing undefeated in the regular season in Orange County. They went on to win the Orange Country playoffs and enter the tournament of champions where they were crowned the upstate and downstate champs before losing the finals. Although they were proud of finishing second overall, they couldn’t hide their disappointment after having beat Annunciation twice earlier in the year. The team was coached by Kevin Gray and Eric Levine.
