Allstate grants $500 to National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame

    Warwick — Allstate Insurance agent Bill Garcia, whose office is located at 16 South St. in Warwick, has been awarded the “Agency Hands in the Community Award” for his commitment to volunteering in the community. With this award comes a $500 grant from the Allstate Foundation, for the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, where Garcia volunteers. He received this award as a result of his active membership and involvement with the foundation. Garcia was nominated by Sara Crowley, a territorial distribution leader at Allstate Insurance Company. “He is a respected member of the business community, protecting people with insurance and financial services products,” she said. “He also makes a point of getting involved personally, by dedicating his time and efforts to making a difference in people’s lives. Garcia presented the $500 awarded by the Allstate Foundation to Derek Hrinya, a Warwick Valley High School Senior who will be attending Syracuse University on a full scholarship. The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame is dedicated to ensuring the future of amateur football at local, state, and national levels. The Allstate Foundation, an independent corporation funded by contributions from the Allstate Insurance Company, awards grants to individuals and non-profit organizations that seek to improve the quality of life in communities across the country.
