Alexandra Mendenhall is the Warwick Valley High School 'Student-Athlete of the Week'

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior Alexandra Mendenhall as this week's "Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week."
Alex is a key member of the Varsity Softball and Tennis teams; both teams have had exceptional seasons. She plays first base for the Section IX softball qualifiers and was a doubles player for the Division Champion Tennis Team.
Alex is an outstanding student with a grade point average of 94.6, while enrolled in challenging courses including AP Government for College Credit.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, plays cello for the Symphony Orchestra and is treasurer for the Sports Medicine Club.
She will be attending High Point University in North Carolina next fall and intends to study Event Management.
Alex is the daughter of Doug and Liz Mendenhall of Warwick. Her brother D.J. is an alumnus of WVHS and graduated from St. John Fisher College where he competed for its top-ranked baseball team this past May.
