Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Lauren Fox as this week's Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.
This three-sport Athlete (Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track) is part of the Section 9 Indoor Track 2018 Champion 4 X 800 Meter Relay Team.
Lauren and her Cross Country Teammates were undefeated in dual meets for XC; she was a Section 9 Finalist in the 2000M.
Lauren finished in the tops seven this weekend in the 2000M steeplechase at the Orange County Outdoor Track Championships held at Warwick Valley High School.
Lauren is an exceptional student; she maintain a cumulative weighted grade point average of 100.4.
She is a member of the National Honor Society and a volunteer track coach for the Warwick Track Club.
Her classes include Advanced Placement Courses for College Credit in Government, Psychology, University Spanish and Science Research Project.
She will be attending University at Albany, studying human biology and neuroscience.
Lauren is the daughter of Mike and Dee Fox of Warwick. Her sister Kaitlyn (26) lives in Greenville, S.C., and her brother Mike (24) lives in the Albany area. Both are alumni of Warwick Valley High School.
