Service academy forum scheduled

Goshen —U.S. Rep. Sue Kelly will host an information forum on Saturday for Hudson Valley students interested in attending one of the nation's service acadmies. Kelly's 9th Annual "Academy Day " will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, in Thayer Hall (room 144) on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point . Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis, Md.), U.S. Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, Co.), U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, N.Y.) and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (New London, Conn.) will answer student questions, and recent academy graduates will offer personal insights into academy programs and student life. High school guidance counselors may also attend. All participants must bring a photo ID to pass through the West Point security checkpoint. For more information, call Rep.
