Second-graders help feed the hungry

Chester The second annual “Empty Bowl Project” to raise money for the Hudson Valley Food Bank will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Bellvale Community in Chester. Many bowls are donated by local artists and will be sold to benefit the food bank. The event also features your choice of a handcrafted bowl full of soup and a pottery performance by local potters led by Ray Boswell. All guests are also invited to participate in an interactive sculptural mural. The event will feature music by Tina Ross, Mike Baglione, Leon Page, Estamos Listos, the Bellvale School Choir, and Jubilate - The Community Youth Choir of Warwick.
