School board holds 2005-05 budget workshop Monday

    WARWICK-The Warwick Valley School Board will hold a work session Monday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room that will include a presentation of the Superintendent's proposed 2005-06 budget and a review of the BOCES' budget. An executive session may follow the work session. Notes from Supervisor Michael P. Sweeton Warwick - The Orange County Office of the Aging will be offering help for seniors in preparing their 2004 tax returns. Starting Friday, Jan. 28, any Warwick senior can call 988-9517 to set up an appointment to have volunteers assist in the preparation of basic, individual tax returns. These volunteers have been trained and certified by the IRS. • Undecorated natural Christmas trees may be dropped off across from the Town Recycling Center located at 65 Public Works Drive until Jan. 31. The center is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. • The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway.
