WARWICK - A good old-fashioned Treasure Hunt will be staged in Warwick this weekend. Some two dozen local high school Interact Club students dressed in pirate costumes will be walking around Warwick on Saturday, May 19, promoting the Warwick Valley Rotary Club fund raiser. Participants in the Pirate Treasure Hunt will be given a set of clues leading them to various locations in the Village of Warwick where additional clues will be divulged. The treasure will be hidden in the Town Park on Union Corners Road, where activities begin at noon and continue until 4 p.m. Prizes include dinner for six cooked at the winner’s home by Michael DeMartino of the Landmark Restaurant, wine paired with the meal donated by Bill and Deborah Iurato of Peck’s Liquor, baseball tickets to Yankee and Mets games and numerous gift certificates from local merchants. Music and Henna tattoos will be part of the festivities at the park. Burgers and hot dogs are included with price of a ticket: $25 per adult; $40 per family. For information, call 651-5004.
