Warwick — “I wonder why …” was the theme of this year’s Reflections Program, sponsored by the National Parent Teacher’s Association. The program offers students the opportunity to have their creative talents recognized in the categories of literature, music, visual arts and photography. It is an opportunity to share their talents with their schoolmates, community, and perhaps beyond. Three pieces in each category and age group, from each elementary school, are chosen by a group of local artists to advance to a regional competition. The student artists then have a chance to go to the state and national judging. This year, four children have advanced to the state level of competition. They are: Lauren Wu in literature, from Park Avenue Elementary, and Matthew Tomko in musical composition, Sharleigh Carter in photography, and Andrew Bilezikian in visual Arts, all from Sanfordville Elementary. Port of Call, at 40 Main Street in Warwick, will exhibit this year’s entries from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 26.
