Recognizing 50 years of service

Warwick Mayor Michael Newhard presents a certificate of thanks to Robert Sanford, a 50-year volunteer with the Warwick Ambulance Corps, during Monday’s Village Board meeting. Sanford is the only volunteer in Orange County with a half-century of service, according to Newhard. The Ambulance Corps also recognized Sanford for his service at its annual dinner. “Volunteering is the highest order,” said Newhard, “even higher than public service because it comes from the heart.
