Rabbitt's efforts result in bus-stop bench at CVS
Warwick Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R-C-Greenwood Lake) has announced that CVS store officials in the village of Warwick will install a bench outside the Main Street pharmacy for individuals who are waiting for buses at the nearby stop. “I was contacted by seniors who frequent this pharmacy, and who rely on Dial-A-Bus transportation,” explained Rabbitt. “They were rightfully upset that there was no place to sit while they wait for their buses.” Rabbitt and her office staff took action by securing a bench donated by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Middletown, that will be delivered and installed in front of CVS on Main Street. “On behalf of Warwick’s seniors, my most sincere appreciation goes to CVS and Lowe’s for their help in resolving this dilemma,” she concluded. “It is a comfort to know so many people share in the common goal to make our communities better places to live. I want to encourage all my constituents, no matter how big or small a problem might seem, to contact my office.” Rabbitt has a district office at 41 High Street in Goshen, and an office in the Legislative Office Building Room 532 in Albany.
