Que Viva la Guadalupe!

Dozens of people celebrated Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadalupe) on Sunday by carrying images of the patron saint of Mexico in procession through the Village of Florida, by attending Mass at St. Joseph’s Church on Glenmere Avenue, and then by breaking bread and other native dishes with one another at the Latino Market on North Main Street. “It could have been a Vatican City celebration,” one participant recalled.
