Provident Bank names regional manager
Warwick Provident Bank has named William Vacca as regional manager for the Northern Region. In his role, Vacca will be responsible for consumer and business deposits and loans, and service levels in the bank’s 19 branches in Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties. He will be based in the company’s Warwick office. “Bill’s extensive banking experience, proven record of community involvement, and knowledge of the customer base in Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties will be great assets as we continue to move the Northern Region forward,” said George Strayton, president and CEO of Provident Bank. “Bill will be a key player in our ongoing commitment to bringing first-class banking services to the northern communities we serve.” Formed last year, the Northern Region represents the territory where Provident Bank has successfully expanded from Rockland County, where it was founded 117 years ago. Since 2001, the bank has acquired the National Bank of Florida, Ellenville National Bank, and Warwick Savings Bank.
