Provident Bank breaks ground for new branch in Chester

Provident Bank recently held a ground breaking ceremony at the future home of its new Chester branch, responding to the increase in clientele and the emergent market in and around Chester. The new branch will be conveniently located at 3 Bryle Place, a property that fronts Brookside Avenue. Provident Bank President and Chief Executive Officer George Strayton and Regional Vice President Bill Vacca were joined by Town of Chester Supervisor William Tully, Town Board member Steve Neuhaus, Town Clerk Elizabeth Reilly, Village of Chester Mayor Phillip Valastro, Orange County Chamber of Commerce President John D’Ambrosio and Orange County Chamber of Commerce Vice President Dan O’Brien. When the new office is completed next spring, the bank’s existing branch in Chester will relocate to the new building. The new 3,400-square-foot branch will be housed in a 6,950-square-foot building and be accompanied by two retail stores. Customers will have access to drive-thru banking lanes, accommodating peak traffic and offering easier banking than before. Additionally, the bank will have two ATMs: one walk-up and one drive-up. The branch will also offer extended hours, including Saturday hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Provided photo)
