Polish club offers scholarship to graduates

Hudson Valley — The Hudson Valley Polonaise Society, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the beautiful customs and traditions of Polish heritage. Through activities of this club, the members work together to raise funds to support various programs and projects. This year, the organization announced it is sponsoring two cash scholarships in the amounts of $1,000 and $500 to graduating high school seniors of Polish descent. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of participant’s essay and the individual’s contributions to school and community. Graduating seniors from the Orange County area are encouraged to contact their guidance counselor for an application, or write to HVPS, P.O. Box 162, Goshen, NY 10924 for further information. The deadline for submission is May 15.
