Pine Island Elementary reunion is this evening

PINE ISLAND — Pine Island Elementary will be holding a reunion this evening, Friday, June 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Everyone associated with its 82 years of education is invited. Organizers said this will be a “come-and-go” affair with entertainment, food, pictures of both recent and not-so-recent happenings, and building tours. Organizers are also seeking pictures or artifacts to be temporarily displayed that evening. A special feature will be the opening of the “Time Capsule” from the 2000 addition and the placing of notes into the capsule for any next opening. Overflow parking will be in the Polish Legion field.
