Pine Island Chamber celebrates its 50th anniversary

Fifty years after the founding of the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, many of the original founding members were reunited at a gala celebration held at the Polish Legion of American Veterans Hall in late October. All Chamber ìPast Citizens of the Year,î along with the founding members, were honored at the event and recognized by the large gathering of guests, as well as state, county and local area dignitaries.
