Picnic planned in Applewood Winery's Vineyard

WARWICK-Applewood Winery will host its third annual Picnic in the Vineyard on Saturday, July 24 at 5 p.m., During the event guests will be invited to take a wagon ride to the vineyards, chat with Jonathon the winemaker along the way and toast the grapevines at the peak of the hill. Applewood's vineyards are only open to the public once a year. Proprietors Jonathon and Michele Hull said they look forward to this opportunity to get to know the folks who visit the winery throughout the season. They also will open the wine cellar for tours. Wine will be available for sale throughout the day and a picnic supper will be served. Reservations are required. Tickets are $20 per person. Applewood is located at 82 Four Corners Road.
