Orange County clerk announces extended hours on Wednesdays for passports

Goshen - Orange County Clerk’s Office will begin extended hours April 2 for U.S. Passport acceptance, Orange County Clerk Donna Benson announced this week/ “Starting April 2, 2008 our Orange County Passport Acceptance Center will open at 9 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays only,” Benson said. “I believe this is one more step in making County services available to individuals who may have difficulty visiting our office during regular business hours.” Residents interested in obtaining more information on passports may contact the Orange County Clerk’s Office at 845-291-2698 or visit its Web site at www.orangecountygov.com .
