O&R to supply more natural gas to Town of Warwick residents

Greenwood Lake - Orange and Rockland crews are currently installing 10,000 feet of additional natural gas distribution pipe that can service homes just north of the Village of Greenwood Lake. “We’ll miss this heating season,” said O&R spokesperson Mike Donovan, “but we will be ready to offer service next year.” The additional eight-inch pipe will carry natural gas from Route 17A and Mary Road to Mountain Lake Lane and then over to Lakes Road ending about 350 feet north of Penaluna Road. O&R’s natural gas delivery system consists of 1,800 miles of gas mains and pipes, and serves nearly 130,000 customers in New York and Pennsylvania.
