One disaster after another

To the editor: Hurricane Katrina is Bush's second 9/11. He was asleep at the switch twice. Add these to his inaction on oil prices, his mistaken war in Iraq, his threats to Social Security and his unwillingness to address the health care crisis and he has to be one of the worst presidents we have ever had. How long will we give him a free pass? When the steel companies were ripping off Americans, JFK threatened them and steel prices came down, but Bush only says, "If I could wave a magic wand...." Must we suffer another Katrina or 9/11 before he accepts the blame he deserves? K.J. Walters Monroe
