October is adopt a shelter-dog month and dogs are waiting for good homes

Warwick —The Warwick Animal Shelter is severely overcrowded with dogs and is encouraging all to consider adopting this month. During adopt a shelter-dog month, all dogs adopted from the Warwick Valley Humane Society will go home with a free “Training your Adopted Dog” DVD by Animal Planet, a $29 value. It works for dogs of all ages. The Warwick Animal Shelter is open seven days from noon until 4 p.m. and is located at 48 Public Works Drive off Kings Highway in Warwick.
