Occupations program sponsors community fair
Middletown Occupations, Inc., Academy Associates members sponsored a community fair earlier this month, in the recreation room at their 24 Union Street location in Middletown. Participating with Occupations were Restorative Management, Stony Ford, Mental Health Association of Orange County, Emergency Management, Community Health Center, Red Cross, and local fire and police departments. Information on each agency and their services was distributed and representatives were available for questions. There was also a Voter’s Registration table available for anyone needing to register to vote. The Rainbow Ladies of Middletown served “Anxiety Free Cookies” and a “Cup of Hope” punch to all of the guests, while others raffled off a fall flower arrangement to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The members of Academy Associates program of Occupations, Inc., organized this fair with little assistance from staff.
