New wireless technology at Albert Wisner library

Warwick — Wireless internet is now available at the Albert Wisner Public Library. The library is now providing free wireless access to those with laptops that are a WI-FI compliant, 802.11b/g wireless device, with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator or other web browser installed. In conjunction with the new service, the library is initiating new wireless and internet policies. The library’s internet usage policy forbids users to access materials that are legally defined as obscene or harmful to minors. Library users are expected to respect the library’s policy and act responsibly with regard to others sensitivity to certain materials.
