Warwick - Michael Deyo has been appointed as administrator of the Schervier Pavilion Health Care facility. Deyo, who holds a Master of Science Degree in Health Services Management, has served the Bon Secours Charity Health System since 1994. He most recently held the position of administrator of St. Joseph Place, a skilled nursing care facility based at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis. “I’m very happy to be here,” said Deyo, “This is a wonderful opportunity to serve the community and to participate in the growth of the Warwick Campus of Bon Secours Charity Health System.” The new administrator of Schervier Pavilion, who lives in Orange County with his wife, Liz, and son Michael, 2, began his career with Bon Secours as director of environmental services. He then moved through a number of management positions including assistant director of facilities, director of facilities and regional director of environmental services. “The best opportunity in any organization for strong leadership continuity is the ability to draw on resources within the organization,” said Leah Cerkvenik, executive vice president for St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center (Bon Secours Charity Health System’s Warwick Campus) who announced the appointment. “Michael Deyo brings more than 17 years of broad based health care experience to this important position. His previous contributions to the growth of Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis as well as his depth of knowledge in both acute and long term care operations will help enable the Schervier Pavilion and the Warwick Healthcare Campus to continue to build and expand quality healthcare services for our community.” Schervier Pavilion, a member of Bon Secours Charity Health System, is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility licensed by the New York State Department of Health and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation.
